Volunteer Your Time
There are numerous organizations in the Danville, Illinois, area which
rely on volunteers. CASA of Vermilion, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Your Family Resource Connection, and Red Cross are
just a few. Your local church or school may also offer volunteer opportunities. Check out our Links page for a
few possibilities.

The Builder's Club from North Ridge Middle School
raised enough money in 2007 to donate two handmade rockers and two hobby horses, one for a boy and one for a girl, to Your
Family Resource Connection. Javon and Jonathan were the top fundraisers. This project was conducted in Reagan's
memory.

Raising
public awareness of SBS through the media is also very powerful. Our local newspapers, the Danville, Illinois Commercial-News
and the Champaign-Urbana News Gazette welcome letters to the editor. We include a Commercial-News
